Ergonomic Kneeling Chair | Rocking Birch Wood Frame, Grey

If you slump at your desk by mid-afternoon, a kneeling chair changes how you sit. It tilts your hips forward so your back stays upright naturally, with some of your weight resting on your shins instead of your lower back. The rocking base lets you move as you work, which keeps you more alert through a long day. It's compact too, so it suits a small home office.

What makes it work

• Upright posture: opens your hip angle so you don't hunch forward
• Rocking base: gentle movement while you sit, for an active posture
• Padded seat and knee rest: 6.5 cm foam cushions covered in grey fabric
• Birch wood frame: strong and stable, holds up to 120 kg
• Compact footprint: tucks under the desk when you're not using it

Before you buy

A kneeling chair uses different muscles, so ease into it. Start with 15 to 30 minutes at a time and swap back to your usual chair in between.
